From a file on your device to a controlled Smart Link.
The normal ShareSomething flow is deliberately simple. Account, storage, billing and developer features sit around the transfer instead of making every upload complicated.
Upload
Choose a file or folder. ShareSomething authorizes the transfer and the browser sends large file data directly to private object storage.
Large transfers can use multipart and resume-friendly workflows instead of proxying every byte through the application server.
Share
When the upload completes, you receive a random Smart Link that can be sent to the people who need access.
The public token stays independent from internal database IDs and the private storage object key.
Control
Use a password, download limits, burn-after-download, expiration or optional end-to-end encryption when a transfer needs tighter controls.
Security controls are part of the sharing model, not a reason to expose storage credentials.
Expire or keep
Anonymous transfers are temporary. Account-owned files can be kept inside included storage or extended beyond that capacity with credits.
You decide whether a file should disappear automatically or remain until you delete it.
